One or Two?

Well, it has been a while since I last posted and although the wait continues, God has prompted us to make a change. We are still waiting for our sweet Makeda who should be between the ages of 1-3. But, more than twice now our hearts have been prompted to consider a sibling for Makeda. We just weren't sure about opening that door. After speaking to our agency, we have discovered we can request for whichever situation presents itself first; meaning if just a toddler girl becomes available for adoption first, then we will be blessed to get just our Makeda, but if a toddler girl with a sibling becomes available BEFORE just a single toddler girl, then we may be getting TWO:). Of course, we would be delighted if it is God's will for Makeda to have a lifelong sibling of her own to grow up with here in the United States, so we will just have to wait to see what He has in store for us. Certainly this is a leap of faith, but isn't that really what adoption (and actually living the whole Christian life) really is??!! With two we would need a new van to be able to fit everyone, the additional funds from somewhere to cover the additional sibling fee (which would not be due until/unless we get a sibling group referral) and a little bit larger house would be desirable too! These are all things I'm sure God has already worked out. We so look forward to seeing how it will all unfold. He is so awesome!!! To God be all the glory!! Thanks for any and all prayers for us, for Makeda and perhaps even for Makeda's brother or sister.
